Dear Cheverus Family, It has been a long time since we have had the opportunity to see one another. More specifically, our interactions and those of the children and their teachers have been limited to remote communication. As helpful as this technology may be in allowing us to remain in contact, it is a poor substitute for in person, human interaction. We weren’t meant to live this way. Given this current situation, and the fact that we are nearing the end of this most unusual school year, we are planning to celebrate our achievements and our perseverance. On Wednesday evening, June 3, our faculty and staff will line up on the school side of Ferry Street to greet you and the children. We will be wearing masks and safely distanced from one another. We will be spread out from the gymnasium to the corner of Center Street. Students and their families in allgrades are not only invited, but encouraged to come to our “parade.” You should drive down Ferry Street from the direction of Main and Salem Streets towards Centre Street, so that the school is on your right. We ask that you drive by slowly, but that you do not stop. We will be there from 6:00 – 6:45 pm. All of our teachers will be present. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!!!
