Dear Cheverus Families,
As we celebrate the end of Lent by spending Easter with our families and friends, we also begin the season of Spring. This is a great time to look back on the sacrifices that have been made and all the positive changes that are taking place around us. All of us at Cheverus are grateful to you for choosing Cheverus Catholic School for your child’s education. We know it is not always easy and you often forgo other luxuries while making this sacrifice. In doing so, you are giving your child the greatest gift of all which is one of security, faith, and care. Personally, I am also grateful to all the faculty and staff at Cheverus who go above and beyond each day to ensure their students’ needs are met. These individuals make sacrifices, as well, to work in a Catholic school, share their faith, and “Love the children first, then teach them.” It is great to be a part of a community of parents and educators who prioritize the children and have dedicated their lives to their students’ growth, development, and care at all levels.
As with Spring, there are many wonderful changes happening at Cheverus. Below you will see details of the upgrades we have made this year and those we have planned for the near future. It is a great time to be a part of the Cheverus community because of these changes and there have never been more opportunities for funding through grants from various organizations. While facility changes are something to proudly share, the most important growth is happening with our students. It never ceases to amaze me how much a child can mature social-emotionally and academically throughout a school year. This is due to your hard work at home and that of the faculty and staff here at Cheverus. We thank you for this and all of us at Cheverus Catholic wish you and your families a happy and holy Easter!
